The snow and ice sculpture festivals that are produced by Ice and Sand Events are indoor festivals. In an insulated tent or space cooling plants are used to push the temperature below zero. In this cold area snow is made and ice blocks are assembled. Subsequently, professional artists transform the material into beautiful snow and ice sculptures which then can be admired by the public. |

The team of Ludo Roders and Hanneke Supply won this edition of the sand sculpture contest.
