Ice and Sand Events initiates, creates and manages sand and ice sculpture shows across the world.
Over recent decades Ice and Sand Events has successfully transformed a universally appealing and exciting form of art into a successful formula with high entertainment value. Unremarkable every-day materials are transformed into very remarkable and eye-catching crowd pullers that guarantee many tens of thousands of visitors.

Long experience has enabled Ice and Sand Events to become the specialist in realising large-scale and impressive sand and ice sculpture events. Sand and ice sculptures can also be built for commercial purposes, marketing campaigns and promotional activities.

Founder of sand sculpture in Europe
Ice and Sand Events introduced sand sculpture to Europe in 1991 with the Netherland’s first "Scheveningen International Sand Sculpture Festival". For the first time people made acquaintance with this art form. While people were familiar with their own modest creations along the tide line, for the first time a 16 metre high sand castle was built on the beaches of the North Sea. Since this first event Ice and Sand Events has built hundreds of sand sculptures, large and small - across the world.

Something new at the largest indoor ice sculpture festival
In December 2000, Europe’s first indoor ice sculpture park opened its doors in Brugge (Belgium). In an area of 1350 square metres, gigantic sculptures made of snow and ice were exhibited for a period of 5 weeks. This first edition proved highly successful. Ice and Sand Events then went on to initiate and organise many more spectacular ice sculpture events in many European countries.
